I am reminded constantly that life is too short but not having my mother around, it's one of the reasons why I try and treat everyone I meet with respect and try and give them a break if they are having a day. I'm by no means, making light of your story. As I KNOW it holds VERY true and it's definitely something worth giving thought to. But also like you, I had a relative, my Great Grandmother, Mama G, to live 3 months shy of her 104th birthday. Parts of me would love to live that long. And the other parts, not so much.<BR/><BR/>I will be 42 in November. And I just pray that EVERY day I have left here on earth, is lived like it's Saturday :-). We all seem to live for the weekend so we can do fun things...most specifically, Saturdays. So from now on, I'm gonna live like every day is Saturday. However, I've already promised (threatened?) my children that I plan to live into my 80's, 90's and probably even 100's. And what do I plan for those Sundays? Just what I do with every day possible .... in the last three years I've really tried to live every day with experiencing any new thing I can, enjoying meeting people, seeing things I've not noticed before, smelling or hearing or feeling everything around me. I don't succeed every day, but when I realized how much of life I'd already missed out on, I decided to make up for that. <BR/><BR/>I'm enjoying life with a zest.
