It's a Beautiful Good Friday . . .

Woke up this morning to one of the most beautiful days we've seen yet this Spring. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the lawns looked greener . . .and it somehow seemed to just infect our household! The girls went off to school happy, and we're looking forward to this Easter weekend (it's supposed to be close to 85 on Easter Sunday!).

I hope all of you have a wonderful Good Friday today. We have thought a lot this week about what Holy Week means to us as Christians; we had an awesome celebration of the traditional Jewish Passover Feast with our church's youth group on Wednesday (way different, but cool!), then yesterday was Maundy Thursday (as we prepared for the death of Christ). Today is Good Friday--which, when Jesus first hung on the cross, wasn't so "good'; but now we know that it was the Ultimate Good for all of us! So, take a moment today and reflect on what this day means to you. What about your life is "good"--so much amazingly better!!!!--because of what Jesus did for you!

Hope you have an awesome Easter weekend! Enjoy the outdoors, dress up a little bit for church, eat some good food, and spend time with family. And remember the Reason for This Season!

Love you all!
