Weekend Photos
(& a One-Day Blogging Moratorium)

Really good weekend, after a sssllllooowwww start. (Delaney was home sick on Friday and then Friday night, so she and Gary and Sydney stayed at home while McKenna and I went to the high school football game. Gary wanted to go, so he was a little bit disappointed by that--and also that he missed our 5th Quarter get-together at church. The game was great--we won 32-10, and the get-together was fun, even though a small crowd showed up. After D woke up throwing up on Saturday morning, I had little hope that she'd be okay for the Bama game that evening. But, around noon she felt revived and she got to go! So, the weekend became good again!)

Some Weekend Photos

From the Bama game--

At the beginning of the post was Delaney, all painted up and ready for the game!

Here we have Sydney, who decided to hop up onto a bar stool and read up on all of the gameday news from the local paper. She was sitting there like she was really reading it!

And then the team allegiances being shown by my two nephews--

And then a few pics from church on Sunday morning (thank you SO much Ryan!)--

Sunday was nice! The youth did an AMAZING drama to the song "When I Call on Jesus" in the morning worship service. McKenna really got into it; she loves performing!

Then Sunday afternoon involved . . . pan pizza from Pizza Hut (yummm!!!), watching some NFL football (fun!), leisurely reading some magazines, folding clothes that desperately needed to be folded (they had created a Pile with a Mind of its Own on a living room chair), and mopping my kitchen floor to where I could actually notice a difference (LOVE a clean floor!). So that was all good!!

And now, a little announcement . . .

I'm putting myself on a Blogging Moratorium! I have become SO addicted to blogging that I've been doing it every week day, plus I have found so many blogs that I love to visit and comment on. I will NOT stop this activity (of course not!!), but I need to take a break for a day or two. I'm seriously behind on FIVE articles I have to get done by October 1 and I'm having serious problems getting through to sources. I'm planning on spending all day Monday working on them--and, pinky swear to myself, I'm not going to be distracted by the big nasty blogging temptation. LOL

Hopefully . . . fingers crossed . . . I'll get some substantial work done on my assignments tomorrow, and I'll be back around on Tuesday (after all, I've got to do my Random Tuesday postings). Wednesday at the very latest!!

Can't wait to catch up on weekend blog postings right now, before my "moratorium" goes into effect.

See ya again soon!!

Breaks are good, I am not really on break I just can't think of anything to write about, suggestions?
