Crazy Tired . . .

I'm crazy tired!!! It's after midnight on Saturday night (so I guess that just makes it Christmas Eve; cool!), and I thought I'd take a break from everything else going on to write a quick post. (Not that anyone will read it, or comment, since everyone is probably just as busy as I am or is sleeping soundly in bed!) But still, it makes me feel good to sit down and write.

I just finished--putting a breakfast casserole overnight in the fridge (will cook in the morning), completing the gift scrapbook for Gary's mom, packaging the homemade ornaments we give out to everyone at our family gatherings, getting the girls to bed (yes, a late night! but, well, they're excited about gifts in the morning at my parents'), pulling all the gifts out from under the tree that will be traveling with us in the morning.

All of this following a day of-- getting a few more gifts (why do I always think I have them all bought?), working on said album and ornaments, taking McKenna to a friend's house to pick up a gift (sweet!), and going to the grocery store THREE times (the second time was the result of forgetting frozen hash browns, cinnamon rolls, and aluminum foil; the third time was the result of forgetting ginger ale, jello, and sherbet the second time I went).

Now, off to take a shower, wash and dry some clothes, and get a few hours of sleep.

It's crazy, isn't it? But the reward is great--good food, good gifts, and good times with family and friends!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve (and, well, now . . . Christmas Eve!)

I imagine you are worn out! It's almost 2:30am, and I'm still awake! Granted, I've only been home from church for about an hour and half! I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas! *hugs*
