Just Some Fun
(& a Class Update)

I saw this cute little thing on several blogs (Andi's and D's) and I think it's starting to make the rounds. So, I decided to go design my own M&M. I call her Princess Cupcake Who Brings Me Tropical Drinks.

She kinda reminds me of myself--blonde hair and flip flops with a pina colada in my hand. (At least, that's kinda what I wish I was like right now! lol)

If you want to join in the fun and make your own, go to www.becomeanmm.com.

A little update on my class . . .

Last night I had SO much fun with my journaling class at Scrapbook Mania. I had just five students, but it was still really great. We discussed about 25 journaling techniques (things like writing narratives, making lists, using poems and song lyrics, using repetition) and then did several writing exercises. I had a ton of scrapbook layouts to use as examples and then we came up with some plans for layouts.

I think everyone had a good time--several of them said it was really inspiring and they were so glad they came. That was good to hear! The next class I'll be doing will be a "Things I Love" flip album. Fun!

Angie and Sharon posing for a picture at the end of class . . .

The cool store where I got to hang out . . .

And some other stuff . . .

Bama just played atrociously last night. Lost to Auburn by a huge score (not really sure the exact points, since I stopped watching it with about 3 minutes to go because it got just way too painful!) They have got to figure out how to win on the road!

I loved all of your answers to my meme yesterday. That was SO much fun and I learned SO much about you all! I loved especially hearing about all the learning-to-drive experiences. (I loved thinking of all of us back in our Chevettes, Monte Carlos, Mustangs, and pick-up trucks learning to drive! Can't you just see it?)

Guess it was time to change the song playing here, although I could keep the song I did have up playing for weeks, but . . . change is good! So, I had a serious college flashback and really wanted to hear some 10,000 Maniacs. I still love this song!!

Hey, DisneyScrapper and Scrapperjen! I get your comments, but then I can't link up to your blog from your comments. Can you let me know your blog addresses? I love to come visit everyone!

Have a wonderful Wednesday. The week's almost half over!!

The class sounds really great. I know that sometimes I don't feel real good about writing on my pages. Maybe you could give us some tips (hint, hint)?

Congrats to your parents!!! Not many can say they still love each other after that many years. I too have parents that are about to celebrate 41 yrs next month...I am the only person I grew up with whose parents never divorced. Hope the lunch is fun!!
