A Blog Roll for my
400th POST!!!
(Plus, some RAKs and a fun CONTEST!!!)
I find it hard to believe that I have come up with enough stuff to write FOUR HUNDRED POSTS!!! (Although a lot of people would tell me that I talk A LOT, so it's totally expected that I could write and post that much! lol)
If you haven't figured it out by now, I am totally obsessed with blogging (well, obssessed might not totally be the right word...but I REALLY love it!!). There are a lot of reasons I love blogging, but the three strongest are probably that--I love to write and blogging sorta forces me to write everyday; it's a great way to journal all the things that happen to and mean something to me personally and my family as a whole (how cool will it be to look back at all of this that I blogged years from now and recall all the moments?); and it's such an amazing way to meet new friends (truly the most surprising benefit of blogging has been all the super people I have met here!!).
Which, brings me to the first thing I want to do to CELEBRATE my 400th post!! I have met SO many of you already, but there are A LOT more of you who come to my blog but never comment in my comments section. So...
this is an official BLOG ROLL SHOUT-OUT!!!
I want you to, pretty please, pop into my comments section and let me know where you are at!! If you're a regular commenter, please come on and comment like normal. But if you don't like to leave comments, do it just this once today and at least put where you're at (your city or state or country) so I can see where all of you are dropping in from. This will be such a cool way to find out a little bit about all of you!!
And, as an added incentive...since I really want to make it to FIFTY comments today...I will give a RAK to the 50th commenter!! (And if there is any possible way I could make it to 100 comments, I will do another RAK for the 100th! I don't expect that many, but it would be COOL!!) So, help me out guys and gals, and let's see how many we can get!!!

She thinks I'm "rockin'," which is really cool!!! Love ya, Maria!! I'm supposed to spread the love and honor 5 more rockin girls who blog, but you know what? There are SO many of you out there who I just adore, plus I've already seen that a lot of you have already been given this award...so I don't want to repeat to any of you AND I don't want to forget anyone who is truly deserving, so let's just us all agree that we're gonna spread the love today and agree that ALL of us are rocking!!! And, I guarantee that if you comment today I will pop your blog and check out your rockin' self!!!!

I also had already thought of this fun little contest I wanted to do, and I hope I haven't waited too long to do it, but Summer isn't officially over yet (although, with school starting in three weeks, it kinda seems like it), so I think it will still work.
For those of you who have been visitors to my blog for awhile, you know that we are a Bed-Jiumping Family!! Yes, when we go on vacation or have to stay in a hotel for any other reason, we always break in the room by jumping on the beds. So, I would like to request your favorite bed-jumping photos for the 2007 Bed Jumping Photo Contest!! I know that I have already inspired some of you (Dawn!! Susie Q!!) to bed-jump, so some of you already have photos you can submit to the contest. But for those of you who haven't tried it yet, here is your chance!! If you will be going on your vacation, or taking a last minute trip to the beach or weekend getaway before school, or even if you have a business trip scheduled soon...be sure and take pictures of you (or your kids, or anyone in your family!) jumping on the hotel bed!! You can email you photos to me at cherylwrit@aol.com, or post a comment in my comments section letting me know that you've put the picture on your blog. The contest will go through the summer, until August 31 (which also happens to be my birthday!). Then, I will post the pics and let my three girls choose the winner! An appropriate, bed-jumping RAK will be awarded to the winner!!
To inspire you, here is our latest bed-jumping pic (this one is of Scout jumping on our camper's bed while at the beach!!)...
And one of my favorite "classics," from a trip to Savannah last August...
Take those as inspirations and don't forget to take a pic the next time you travel...or email me any bed-jumping pics you've taken in the last year...and I will be sure and remind you as the contest deadline get closer. Should be fun!!!

Wasn't the book just awesome?!! I totally loved it. And I completely forgot about the Percy reunion - I lost it on that part too! I kept wiping my eyes with the front of my tshirt and it was literally wet after a while!
