Sunday Afternoon "Hey Ya'll"

Well... another LONG day and night at the Alabama game....another last-minute touchdown at the end of the game (we tied the game 20-20 with less than a minute to play, then sent it into Overtime)...another night filled with me hiding under the bleachers and being too afraid to watch the game...but this time it didn't work out quite the way we wanted!

We lost last night 26-23 to Georgia and we continued the ESPN College GameDay Curse (we have yet to win when GameDay comes to town; and everytime Lee Corso predicts that we'll win, we lose. Dang that Lee Corso!! lol)

Anyway...I'm moving on and will soon be looking forward to playing Florida State next weekend. (I try and impose the 24-Hour Rule on myself; after twenty-four hours, no more moping about a loss! lol)

(And Kari--thanks for cheering us on! It really is crazy, isn't it, how we start cheering for teams that before blogging we would have never cared about? I now watch and cheer for Purdue just because of Phats!)

A GOOD spors result, though, was another victory for our high school football team on Friday night. We won 31-21 and have moved to 4-0 and we're ranked #9 in the state. Very cool!

McKenna's band and color guard squad did great their competition yeterday and now she's looking forward to Homecoming Week this week! So much fun!! She has Camo Day, Alabama-Auburn Day, Celebrity Day, Tacky Day, and Spirit Day for school this week, and is really looking forward to that.

We had a good Sunday morning at church today. Always a good thing!

Delaney just headed off to softball practice. (By the way, Delaney's pageant isn't until November but we chose her dress last week. I think some of you were thinking we had her pageant this weekend in addition to all our other activities. THAT would have really worn me out!!)

And now, I'm going to wash clothes (why does it seem like I have 10 loads of clothes staring at me every Sunday afternoon?) and do some scrapbooking. I will try and post some of my pages tomorrow!

AND....I can't wait for THIS tomorrow.

It's my favorite show on television and tomorrow night is the premiere. Yay!!

Hope everyone had a GREAT weekend. See ya soon!!

Hey lady, sorry bout the game yesterday. But if it makes you feel any better, although I live in Georgia, I'm not a Georgia fan. :-) BUT...I'm not a BAMA fan either. However, I AM a Cheryl fan...so I'm sorry your team lost.

Enjoy the rest of your week, my friend.

Looks like another fun filled weekend was had. Sorry about the game. Hopefully Alabama will start winning some games because they paid a lot of money for the coach...

Blessings!

So sorry they lost Cheryl, I put our final stats up from the picks you won that! :) Your game was ending as ours was starting so I was flipping at commercials. UGA is always tough.

It's homecoming week at our school too, I had to supervise hall decorating and the making of floats for the parade today. CRAZY.

The game was sad... I thought it was funny how you were gonna be brave and actually WATCH the play that tied us up... then sat back down and hid your face! LOL

McKenna is not to go to school dressed as Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan!!!

I'm not a big tv watcher, but totally love this time of year for the new premiers of my shows. Got to watch cold case last night, now why did I fall asleep watching it? LOL. Anyway, sorry about the CT, but things will be looking up for you soo.

To answer your question about laundry.....because you are always busy going places with the kids and football, that you never have time to DO the laundry. LOL. At least you stay busy girl. Have a beautiful day.

I'm sorry Bama lost - I ended up watching it to the bitter end (still can't believe that I've done that twice now. lol). Really took the wind out of my sails when they didn't pull it off. But - it was a great game anyway!
