10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 . . . It's a Random Tuesday Countdown!

It's Random Tuesday and I found this really fun meme over on Skrpndiva's blog that I thought would be perfect for this morning! Just some, fun random musings that give you some insight into what's going on with me right now!

I usually ask you to post your answers in my comments section but, obviously, this is a little bit too long to be doing that. So...just consider yourself officially tagged and do the answers on your own blog if you're so inclined! Or...pick one or two of the categories and answer them in my comments. Whatever floats your boat!

Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday morning!!!

(By the way, I'm still trying to get around to everyone's blogs. I made it to quite a few yesterday, but still not everyone's! And if you're just stopping by here for the first time since the holiday, my Thanksgiving pictures are in the post below this one!)

Okay, here you go...

Ten things I did this weekend:
1. Went to church
2. Made a birthday cake for
Gary
3. Watched Bama get beat in the Iron Bowl (ugh!!!)
4. Washed clothes
5. Made sausage balls
6. Bought gas (don't I do that just about everyday?)
7. Talked to Mom on the phone
8. Downloaded my Thanksgiving pictures
9. Swept all the leaves that keep coming into my den (they are EVERYwhere!)
10. Redecorated
Sydney’s room (she got a new bed! She refused to sleep on her bunk bed--and, instead, slept on the floor. But now she has a pretty day bed that she likes and is sleeping on!)

9 things on my agenda this week:
1. Finish an assigned article on Christmas movies (this one has really been fun to research!)
2. Take McKenna to Winterguard practice
3. Take Delaney to pitching practice
4. Take
Sydney to her Christmas play practice (you have NO idea how humorous this has been! Sydney pretty much just enjoys getting up on stage and waving to all of us!)
5. Plan Advent devotions for our family times this month
6. Buy a white Christmas tree (I want to get a small white one and decorate it in retro-style)
7. Finish some Halloween and Thanksgiving scrapbook projects
8. Get caught up on washing clothes
9. Buy some more Christmas gifts

8 shows I watched last week:
1. Heroes
2. Various holiday cooking shows on Food Network
3. Sportscenter on ESPN
4. Hannah Montana (yep, a lot of Disney Channel in our house!)
5. Chuck
6. Will and Grace (still one of my faves)
7. Women’s Murder Club (just discovered this last week on ABC and really liked it; I’m gonna have to DVR it)
8. Lost mini “webisodes” (they are releasing 13 original “in between” scenes on abc.com. If you are a Lost fan, you gottta check it out!)

7 things I cooked last week
1. Cheesecake
2. Chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese icing
3. Mashed potatoes
4. Spaghetti
5. Sausage balls
6. Pancakes
7. Potato Casserole

6 things I read this past week
1. My December “Southern Living”
2. Friends’ blogs
3. ESPN.com
4. Confessions of a Shopaholic
5. “Upper Room” daily devotions
6. Started Eclipse

5 Reasons to be happy today
1. The sun is shining and there is a brisk coolness in the air
2. Sydney is singing a song to me right now!
3. Gary’s birthday gift should arrive in the mail today (a day late, but SO worth it! I will let you all know what it is, once he gets to see it! lol)
4. We all have little coughs and runny noses, but we are healthy in the grand scheme of things!
5. My cousin Clancy is doing better

4 things I need to buy
1. Ziploc bags
2. That white Christmas tree
3. A new scrapbook magazine
4. Diet Dr. Pepper

3 people I saw this weekend
1. A whole ton of family (not really this past weekend, but on last Thursday and Friday.. Parents, in-laws, cousins, brother, nieces and nephews! VERY good!)
2. Bobby and his family
3. Girlfriends Chris and Allison

2 things I am thankful for right now
1. Happy teenagers
2. The innocence of children

One final thought: Don’t worry about the things you don’t have. Enjoy how much you, in reality, DO have!
