Happy MLK Day...

On this day, and every day, may we reach beyond our differences...
yet embrace our differences, for they are what make us truly beautiful.

May we realize that we are all truly created equal...
because we are all God's children.

May we never accept injustice and prejudice...
and always back up our belief through our words and actions.

May we be a friend...
because only in getting to know one another can we truly see beyond the surface.

May we look only to the content of our character.

May we always dream of a better day.

And most importantly (in my book, at least!)....
may we pass these lessons on to our children.

Well said! It truly is sad that there is still so much prejudice out there in the world!

Amen to that Cheryl! May we all teach our children that race and skin color aren't qualities of our character!
