McKenna's A Big Sister...Again!

{and, NO, I wasn't pregnant again and didn't tell you all! LOL}

McKenna spent the day in Georgia yesterday with her Dad and Stepmom, Beth, and got to meet her new baby brother. She has been so excited about him being born; there must be something about being older (16) that makes little babies seem even sweeter! I let her take my camera with her and she got some wonderful shots. Just look at how ADORABLE this little kiddo is. Oh. my. gosh.

His name is Thomas Aidan, which I just think is so cool because if Sydney had been a boy she was going to be named Aidan.

Delaney has decided that Aidan is officially her "Double Half Brother," although she knows there's no "blood" relation between them. Still, she (and Sydney) were both so excited too! We can't wait for him to come over this way so we can fawn over him!

And let me close with this...which has to be one of the sweetest things I've seen in quite a while! McKenna is into doodling and drawing in her sketchbook these days, so she made Aidan this message. When I saw this picture and read her message to him, I just about broke down. Too sweet!

(and, edited to add: My sweet husband GOT ME!!! He remembered the date today and I didn't. Now, If I had my calendar in front of me I would have remembered. Go to HIS BLOG to see what I'm talking about. I love you, Gary!!!!!)

Awww that baby boy is darlin'! What a wonderful big sister Mckenna is and I love Sydney's attitude about him too. Sweet (although i'd expect NO LESS from Scout). She must get it from her sweet Daddy cos' I already read (and commented) on his post. You have hit the jackpot in life girlfriend!

Now I don't know you. I merely came across this page while searching for the correct poetry of P.B.Shelley. I just wanted to say that I think it's the absolute sweetest thing I've ever heard that your hubby remembered when you two met. Not many wives can say their other half has such a good memory! I'm from AL myself, currently living in CA, and thought what a coincidence that I should stumble upon a fellow southern gals blog in this big wide web..lol...anyway..congrats on those 14 years:)..and an adorable baby!

Anyway, those pics are so adorable... and it's so cool that she is excited about being a big sister again. So cute. Love and hugs and I will try to be better.

Oh, how sweet! I remember when ya'll were here, ya'll were talking about this baby being on the way. I also remember how McKenna was "into" doodling and talking about doing this page for her new sibling. Super sweet!

Speaking of her being 16 now, how did her party go? Or do I need to just be patient and keep reading? LOL
