With thoughts of joy and charity in my head (from a really nice weekend full of Christmas goodness), I thought I'd switch gears a little bit and share some Christmas "funnies" with all of you.
You can always count on David Letterman to make anything funny...
And from my favorite new t.v. show, "The Big Bang Theory," is a scene from last week's episode (when I, seriously, laughed so hard that stuff was coming out of my nose!). To understand this scene, you need to know two things: that Sheldon doesn't celebrate Christmas or, as he calls it, "Saturnalia," because the Christmas tree and other traditions come from a pagan background; and that he found out Penny was getting him a gift and, not knowing what to get her, bought a pile of gift baskets to match whatever she ended up getting him. This is absolutely priceless...
And how about a heartwarming picture of Santa with some kiddoes on his lap...
(the look on Santa's face is just as priceless as the kids').

I love BBT, also, and you're right .... that may have been one of their best yet! I was rolling throughout the whole thing, but you have the best part of all!!
I never make it to see Letterman. The songs are priceless. And it was such fun to see the BBT bit again.
