I hope you had a wonderfully amazing Easter!!!

I will be back soon with pictures of all of our festivities (we had birthday parties, and all sorts of Easter activities this weekend!), but in the meantime I just wanted to wish all of you sweet bloggy friends a wonderful holiday.

I also thought I'd share a status update I put on my Facebook page last night, as I reflected on what Easter means to me.

Based on my favorite Easter-y song (well, not counting "Up from the Grave" and "He Lives," which are definitely my favorite Easter hymns)--"My Redeemer" by Nicole C. Mullen--this is what came to my mind as I thought of what the sacrifice of Holy Week means for me...

The same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken...they conquered death to bring me victory." How powerful is that? The God of EVERYTHING...the One whose mightiness we celebrate tomorrow...loves me, little ole me with His whole heart. That is humbling, and yet overpowering in its meaning. I am worthy...because He is worthy with a capital W.

Love you all!
