Birthday Celebration Photos!!!

We partied ALL weekend long, in celebration of McKenna's 14th birthday and Sydney's 2nd birthday. Anyone who knows us knows that we celebrate birthdays BIG. We let the birthday girl (or guy, if it's Pop!) pick out a place to go out to eat; Sydney's not old enough to do that yet, so McKenna chose for both of them. Of course, it was Olive Garden--her favorite place to eat (she always orders calimari for appetizers and fettucini alfredo for entree). So a few of the first pics are from our birthday dinner there.

On Saturday, we had Sydney's DORA birthday party. She had talked about her party for two weeks nonstop, talking about who all was coming and that she was getting Dora presents. And boy did she! We had an awesome Dora cake from Publix, played a Map Adventure game (Delaney made the maps; great job!), played limbo, and opened presents. We had a good crowd,and had a ton of fun! The next pics are from that party!

McKenna celebrated with her family at Syd's party, then that night had a birthday excursion with NINE of her closest friends! My friend, Carol Edgar, helped me by driving one carload while I drove the other. McKenna invited Starla, Mallorie, Jennifer, Ashley, Cameron, Lori, Casey, and Jeremy. Let me just say that it was INSANE funny. I had the best time with these kids--even though I'm 37 years old, I had a blast. They reminded me how fun it is to be a 14-year-old! The last pics show the night out ice skating and then eating at Arby's. They posed for so many pictures; it cracked me up!

Happy birthday McKenna and Sydney. I love you both so much and am proud to be your Mom!
