Such a wonderful weekend!!

It is Sunday evening and I'm getting wound down from the weekend. I thought I would take a look at some of the things (both little and big) that made this such a wonderful weekend. I hope yours was great too!

Let's see...

~ Buying scrapbook goodies at Hobby Lobby

~ Seeing the "hot now" sign at Krispy Kreme and buying almost a dozen of them! (no, I didn't eat them all by myself... although I could have!)

~ Our high school team winning again Friday night (with the win, we secured the home field for our first state playoff game in three weeks!)

~ Having dinner at Taco Casa (my very fave fast-food restaurant!)

(where I took this pic--just a little bit of a preview of the "On the Road with Rufus" photo post you will get next week! I have got some priceless photos of little Rufus--who is visiting us courtesy of Jeff, for Halloween. Jeff, trust me...he is having a grand adventure in Alabama!)

~ McKenna's color guard and band getting all 1's at competiton on Saturday (they competed with 16 other schools in their class and the girls came in second place, only 1/2 point behind the winner!)

~ Reading THIS and falling in love with it!! (My plan for bedtime very soon is reading it until I fall asleep!)

~ Having a good Sunday at church. (One of those mornings when I actually got up on time and was able to get ready without rushing. I love those Sunday mornings!)

~ Spending Saturday with 92,000 of my closest friends!!!

~ And enjoying a HUGE VICTORY with those friends!!!!!!

(Yes, we beat...sorry, DESTROYED...Tennessee 41-17! We are now tied with LSU for first place in the SEC West. And in two weeks, guess who comes to town? LSU! Gary and I had a fantastic time at the game!)

~ Enjoying the beautiful weather all weekend long!! The weather at the game was perfect (clear skies, sunny, and around 80 degrees) and then afterwards it was perfect for gardening with Grandma. (There was also rugby with my brother Christopher, but none of the pics turned out!)

I hope all of you had as good a weekend as I did! Football, family, friends...and doughnuts!! You can't get much better than that!!!!

Hey Cheryl
GO TIDE! Glad I could be of assistance in their big win. Purdue also won 31-6 to become Bowl Eligible. Got home in time to watch OSU hang on, it'a amazing how they are consistently in the top 5.

Looks like you had an awesome weekend

I thought of you when I checked out the football scores.
Carolina lost to Vanderbilt OY! That one hurt. I bet ol' Steve ripped those boys a new one.
Good luck against LSU but my GF's hub bleeds purple so.....

Congrats on the football win and the band competition. Second place is awesome when you weren't sure what to expect. Now you can aspire to first next time!

OOOOOOOOO I LOVE it when the "Hot Now" sign is on at Krispy Kreme Donuts too! YUMMY!

I started reading Twilight Thursday night and finished it Saturday. I am now 3/4 through the New Moon (the second book). TOTALLY LOVE THESE BOOKS!!! My daughter has read all three of them already (since Thursday night)

Needless to say my blog has been ignored! I really need to finish updating it from last weekend!

Glad you had a GREAT weekend! It always sounds like you have so much FUN!

Wow, you DID have a good weekend! I have been craving some KK Donuts. But hubby won't take me. Guess that's one of the benefits of being a SAHM and HAVING to run errands. I'm thinking tomorrow, KK may be one of the stops I have to make. Thanks, Cheryl!!

I knew you were a friendly lady...but my goodness, 92,000? When are you having them over for dinner? :-)
