Just Some Stuff...

Life is busy. Life is good.

Last night, we gave Gary this...

and he absolutely LOVES it! It was for his birthday and was a day late, but I promised it would be worth the wait! I think he agrees--since it's been attached to his head since he opened it up (I even think he might have slept with the earphones in!)

Yesterday, I found Sydney this (and also a Cinderella one)...

and I am SO excited!!! Santa is bringing her a Disney Princess Kitchen and, apparently, the commercial has two girls playing with the kitchen while dressed up in Princess costumes. Sydney told me that the kitchen comes with the costumes which it really doesn't (commercials can be deceiving things!!). So, I was off to find costumes but it really upset me a bit that they each cost $20 or more. But yesterday, I found these at Family Dollar for $5 each. (Along with a pink Princess mirror in the shape of a crown.) Score!!

This morning, I heard this...

and it so made me cry. I heard the first verse and I told McKenna, "I can already tell this is gonna make me cry." And oh yes it did!! Time flies and babies are soon teenagers and I'm just getting old...and I'm gonna stop or I'll cry again.

Last night, I made this...

and just ate a piece for breakfast. Not necessarily the best breakfast in the world, but what's life if you can't eat chocolate and cream cheese before 9 am?

Well...I'm off to another busy day! I'm still working hard on my articles due by Friday (they provide me with my own personal Christmas gift money for Gary, so I gotta have it!); I have Delaney home sick with me today (just a little fever and a tummy ache); tonight is play practice at church (I get to see Sydney's angel costume!); and I really want to get some Christmas decorations put up; and tonight Bama plays Texas A&M in basketball and I'm looking forward to that (yessiree, moving on toward basketball!!).

Hope you have a fabulous Hump Day. See ya tomorrow!!!

Awwww, that song is so beautiful. Yep, I had a baby and a 3 year old that somehow got to be 17 and 21 And now they are a young woman and a teenager, and beautiful and how they got that old, I don't know. Miss those little girls though, with beautiful hair and shining eyes, and little footsteps at Christmas morning running into my room and saying, is it morning yet mommy? Love that memory. OK, I'm gonna cry now too. Have a beautiful day. PSSST....you're not even close to old yet!

Gary--I figured you did!!! LOL

Linda--Oh I do feel kinda old. A year from 40 and a sophmore in high school. But I always say that Sydney will keep me young (or make me feel EVEN older, lol). I get more sentimental by the day about my girls! I see them becoming their own person and so independent!

Adrienne--Isn't it?

Nina--Oh yeah, girl!! I will be at home watching it, cheering my Boys on!!!!

Patti--I love it when I find something that he really likes. That's the joy in gift-giving to me...finding the perfect gift for that special someone!!

JB--Ha!! Yes, you need to tell her about it!!

Gin--Yep, I think he really likes it. :-)

Sharmaine--Ha ha!!! I am really bad about either eating something sweet, or something like lasagna! (Except when Gary makes us his yummy omelettes!)

Cheryl--So sweet, isn't it? I just can't believe how big mine are getting. Especially McKenna--in two years, she'll head off to college. Wah...

Camport--Oh, that is COOL news. I hadn't heard that.

Josie--Cheesecake, chocolate...ALWAYS good!! I will link my article if it appears online!

Wow...I didn't get a gift like that for MY birthday. Hmmm, maybe it's still in the mail :-), lol.

What a sweet song. I listened to a little bit of it..then had to stop it, sniff sniff.

Welp, Sydney and Jayla are at it again. Jayla wants that darn kitchen too. You know, so she can sit it right next to the Dora one she just HAD to have...sheesh. These little girls!!!

I think it should be a law that every breakfast MUST include chocolate! YEP! I think so!

We bought our son the new Zune for Christmas! It's amazing what those tiny little things can do. The amount of music/movies you can put on them! WOW!

Have a WONDERFUL day!
