Anyone want to make a prediction?

Okey doke, this is Crazy Sports Fanatic reporting here. The national championship game between LSU and Ohio State is slated to start in just minutes. Although I really can't stand LSU (their fans are pretty much the most obnoxious I've ever dealt with personally; sorry to those couple of Tiger fans out there who visit my blog; I don't mean you! lol), I gotta cheer for my conference. The SEC is good and it will only make our win next year against them look even better! (Roll Tide!!!!...lol)

I know there are a few more big football fans out there in my blogosphere, so I got a question for you...

Anyone want to make a fearless prediction?

Personally, I think that LSU is a better team all-around. They played a tougher schedule and have some oustanding players. But...they lost two games and, in those losses, they were shown to be really vulnerable. Also, Coach Miles has proven to be a bit crazy (or maybe brilliant, not sure which!), so his decisions could cause some problems. And...while Ohio State played a much easier schedule and got beat by a pretty bad Illinois team, I do think that their advantage is that they were embarrassed in last year's national championship game and have something to prove.

My prediction is LSU, but the way this crazy football season went all year long...your best is as good as mine. It could be a blow-out by LSU; it could be a blow-out by Ohio State; it could be a nailbiter that comes down to the end (which I'm hoping for, because I'd much rather watch a fun, entertaining game!). Any way you look at it, it should be a good one!

So...I'm about to head to the tv, with the whole family behind me (except for Sydney, who says she'd rather watch the Disney Channel!). I don't have buffalo wings or chips n' dip...but I do have homemade fettucini alfredo, grilled chicken, and a glass of wine. Sounds like a party to me!

I'll be back in a couple of hours with a game final!!!

EDITED TO ADD: Woo Hoo!!!! A big win for LSU, and all I gotta really say is: "SEC! SEC! SEC!!" (Now let's head on into basketball!)

Oh, is the LSU game over already? Last thing I remember is my hubby yelling at the TV and LSU was winning. So I think those were good yells I heard, lol. I'm not much into college football. So as far as I'm concerned, they're ALL winners (hee hee...how lame!) :-D

Too bad for Tressel and those legions of fans(I detest OSU!) I think though it's time to start shipping the SEC teams out of their home venues for bowl games for a change.

Saw Bama about won a big one last night. We played without our best player, and in MAJOR foul trouble and led #6 Michigan State with 1 min to play and lost by three :(

Okay, salt in the wound and I have to follow a comment saying *I detest OSU*!!??
I must say I have never *detested* any team, even Michigan, and that is saying A LOT!
I just love college ball, and watching college ball. I am born and bred Ohio. Mom is an alum, brother, friends who played, live near AJ Hawk's folks )His aunt and uncle groom my doggie!) and Nick Mangold's family. Both are alums now but still...: ) GOOD guys.

Still, it is a *game* and in the end, the best team won.

Love and hugs,
Sue
