A Scrappy Share

Very busy today.

I've got four articles due by Friday and only one is finished. So I'm spending the day tracking down sources on one, and writing the other two. Keep your fingers crossed that everything will get done that needs to be done (and it always does!). :-)

So, instead of writing a long, lengthy post full of illuminary ramblings, I thought I'd share some pictures of a little mini album I finished last week. This is being taken to my local scrapbook store for display...to show how to use these fun Maya Road chipboard albums and how to use this fun Flair Designs paper.

This album is of my favorite Bible verses. I've only put in three or four verses, leaving several more pages blank so I can fill them in later with verses that may come to mean something to me as I go through my everyday life (It goes that way with me; I have two or three that are kind of like "life" verses, and then other ones come to have meaning for me as daily stuff just goes on with me).

I either painted each chipboard page or covered it with this pretty patterned paper. Super easy, but so, so cute (I think!). (And you could totally use this bird book for all sorts of themes--children, Spring, Easter, best friends, cute sayings, etc.)

And now...you go have a WONDERFUL day!!!

I'm off to try and get some work done.

I love your bird mini album! It turned out so pretty!

I could easily see this as sort of a mini "journal" for bird watchers! You could put a small picture of each bird you have found and identified! Of course, you may end up needing more than ONE mini album if you are an avid bird watcher!

Wishing you luck on all of your project that need to be completed.

love the bird! love the little butterflies! I'm working on a mini right now and I remember why I don't do many of these. Covering them with patterned paper can be a pain. Especially shaped stuff like that bird!! LOL!
