We. love. to. create.

While I holed up at the computer yesterday and acquired Melted Brain Syndrome (but I did write and submit three articles in by deadline!), Sydney spent most of the day creating new pictures for our refrigerator.

I thought these two were both really good. The second one, she said: "Is all about Spring. There's a rainbow and the red thing with lines coming out of it is the sun. At the bottom are flowers. And then that green thing is your car and the blue thing is Poppy's car."

(and do you see Spongebob floating around in the first one? lol)

Gotta love it!

Some other things I love today...

~ That I got to watch another FAN-tastic episode of "Lost" last night. (I really do seriously think I might have an unnatural addiction to it!)

~ That I will be celebrating my friend Allison's birthday tonight with a crowd of friends. I'm making homemade chocolate cake with cream cheese icing.

~ That it's supposed to get up to 62 degrees today. I'm tired of cold weather.

~ That tomorrow is the start of Delaney's softball season. I'm tired of practicing. We're ready to play!

~ That today is Leap Year (or is it called Leap Day? I really have no idea!) But I do think it's funky cool that today is that day! (Maybe we should all find some funky cool way to celebrate it?)

~ That I can pop by your blogs today. Sometimes having to "work" stinks and then my blog-visiting suffers. (Maybe I have an unnatural addiction to blogging too! :-) )

Awww, what cute drawings. I love Jayla's work. Although, from school, there's SOOOOOO much of it! Sheesh!!

It's about 55 her right now. I think it's supposed to hit the low 60's. But I'm wondering if it's gonna make it.

We are SUPPOSED to start soccer tomorrow. But again, not sure that's gonna happen...it's supposed to rain tonight.

Have a great weekend, my friend. Talk to you soon.

By the way, how does this day, "Leap Day" as you call it work? I mean,I know it only comes around every, what? 4 years? What about those people who were born on Feb. 29th? How do the have/celebrate their birthdays? What a rip off, huh? :-)

Thanks for stopping by my place for a visit. We are suppose to be having warmer weather here today but NOT! It is still cold. Tomorrow and Sunday should be much warmer. Good luck with softball season. I love watching my kids play sports. Have a nice weekend.

Oh, Good Luck This season.. I'm ready for it too.. But my kids won't play until the summer league, starting in April. I think it's one of the most fun things about being a Mom, is going to all those ballgames..Yipeee.. But I do get to go to some garage sales tomorrow.... YES!
Have a great weekend!

On Simon's wall at school, I was noticing that all the little girls had rainbows on their coloring pages!

I need a girl so I can get some rainbows up in this house!!

You are definitely not alone! I have an unnatural addiction to bloggin' too! LOL

Sydney is the little artist!

Thank goodness some warmer weather! We got up to 49 today. Even a little higher tomorrow! But then we plummet again!

Have lots of FUN!

What sweet refrigerator decor you have, my dear. :)

My favorite shopping channel, QVC, is having 4 payments on each and every item online and on air today as they celebrate Leap Day. So, I couldn't just leave those shirts and that dress in the warehouse--they were practically free.

Enjoy "your" softball season. ;)

I love kids' drawings. Which is a good thing because we have so many kids. Our refrigerator is covered with them.

We had a snow day on Wednesday with temps at 30 or less. Today, it's in the 50's with tomorrow's high expected to be 64.
