Merry Christmas!
I'm gonna start off with the absolute highlight of my weekend--and it didn't even involve the Alabama victory in the SEC Championship game (if you can believe that?).
On Sunday night, our church had its annual Children's Christmas Play. It was a wonderful story ("The Best Christmas Present Ever") with a wonderful message. And there was this adorable little five-year-old girl who performed a wonderful solo.
Seeing and hearing Sydney up there in front of the audience, putting her whole heart into the song, made me so proud and joyful. I cried (as did a large portion of the audience, if I believe what everyone told me) and it just tipped off the Christmas season perfectly. I am now absolutely in the mood (although I was just about there already!).
The other event--the MAIN event--of the weekend was the Alabama-Florida game for the SEC Championship and a berth in the national championship game. Alabama just dominated the Gators and they played as a true team. It was so exciting...and we were all yelling, and loud, and crazy, and just giddily excited about how it turned out. I doubt if I will come down off of Cloud Nine for a good while!

(Yep, after the Bama game, we changed into our Texas gear and cheered the Longhorns on too. It's my dream match-up!)

Sydney has such a precious and very good voice! Thank you for sharing your celebrations, Cheryl. I always lurve them.
haha I love the picture of the mocking of Crybaby Tebow!! Boy Texas sure got a break, read an article today how the Nebraska coaches were calling them cheaters and saying they didn't earn the trophy from their tunnels! WOW! I didn't see the game but now I wish I had. Everyone is giving you guys the BIG edge vs the Horns.
I am wondering if there's anyway I will get a Boiler Up out of you on Saturday night at the game? HAHA Watch #3 on Defense he is AMAZING

Oh my goodness, she is a natural singer, so so so cute! 'gave me chills! and i love how she was kinda dancing/ swinging... natural born entertainer! :)
