Happy (belated!) Valentine's Day . . . Here's a pic of Gary and I before we headed out on our Valentine's Day date. The girls stayed with Nanny and Papaw, while we went out to eat. Our plans were to eat at a steakhouse out in West Blocton (really the middle of nowhere, but we'd heard their steaks were great), but after a run-in with a very rude waitress we decided to head back into town and go to Applebee's. We had to wait just a bit for a table, and then just ate until we were absolutely stuffed. I got the three-course meal with spinach/artichoke dip, a wonderful garlic shrimp topped sirloin, all the yummy sides, and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. Plus, I ate on Gary's dessert (a yummy apple cheesecake concoction). We needed a wheelbarrow to roll us out after that meal! I'm so grateful to have Gary in my life; we still have so much fun together, and he's just a wonderful husband, father, and all-around guy. Hope you all had a great V Day too!
