We're relishing in the hot weather and the sleep-late mornings! Enjoying pools, water guns, ice cream, and snow cones!
We are heading down to my parents' today, to help Dad out with assorted writers conference things. We need to buy door prizes, work on registrations, make name tags, fold programs, things like that (remember: if any of you are interested in coming, go to my blog about it: www.scwc2007.blogspot.com). Sydney also says we need to take care of Grandad because "he's all alone." (So we will probably make him a good dinner, since Mom is still galavanting around Europe and not there to keep him fed! lol) We will stay down until late tomorrow night, so I may not pop online tomorrow.

Isn't summer the greatest? I love it. I work in the summer, so I can't fully enjoy it as I used to as a kid, but still...

I miss being a kid and having summer vacation!!!!! Maybe someday if I have kids I'll be able to enjoy all of the moments again!
Hey cheryl!! McKenna must be having so much fun in Europe!!! and yes...that definitely looks like summer!!! i can't believe the kids are already out of school in the states....my kids go til the end of june....cannot wait to get to the relaxing and chilling part of summer!!

I love it when the kids are out of school and I can hear their laughter outside. I love having Grace around all day and watching her frolic in the pool or riding her bike...just being a kid.
Snow cones are a huge part of that!
