"Oui, Oui, I'm back from Par-ee"
This is what we had Sydney saying the whole time that McKenna was gone to Europe. You should have just heard her little sing-songy voice: "Wee, wee, I'm back from Par-ee!"
So, McKenna is back from Par-ee (and Normandie, and London, and Windsor, and Oxford), so I thought I'd share a few of the pictures I culled from her more than 700!
From France...
And from England...
She has had some wonderful stories to tell me (her favorite thing in Paris was Rodin's Garden, but she loved England the most. She especially loved Oxford and she and Mom had the best time climbing to the top of the oldest building in Oxford, built aroun 1010. Wow!) She is still recovering from the time change, I think, and I haven't even had a chance to look through everything she brought home. I really think it was almost overwhelming to her, and it may take while for her to "come back to earth."
Rest assured that these pictures will make it into a Europe Scrapbook sometime very soon! (I will share that with all of you, of course!)
Now... on to today's activities...
Please say a little prayer for me! I am taking 8 of Delaney's friends (plus McKenna will be there with her own crew!) to the local theme park. We are playing in the water park for about four hours, taking a break for cake (a Hannah Montana ice cream cake from Dairy Queen! yum!), and then heading back to do all of the rides (roller coasters, etc.) Adrienne has told me that I'm "officially crazy" (her daughter, Jaelyn, is coming!) and I think she might just be right!!
Updates tomorrow, of course--unless I'm lying comatose in bed because of heat stroke and the exhaustion of being with that many pre-teens! lol
Also tomorrow--it will be Random Wednesday (since, obviously, it wasn't Random Tuesday today!)
Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful day!

Beautiful photos! It looks like she had a blast! Also, best wishes to you as you go on this dangerous mission with the kids to the park (heh-heh)! Seriously, have a great time!
Pa ree looked fabulous. So many familiar pictures and McKenna was actually there!!!! I love the angle she took of the Eiffel Tower. She has a good eye for photography.
I think you may be a little insane with that many preteens running around-- and girls at that. LOL!!!! Reminds me of when I took William and 3 of his friends (all between the ages of 4 and 6) to see TMNT. It was wild!!!! I vowed to never do that again.
Have fun... BTW-- I can' wait to check out that winery and taste the Chianti...
Blessings!
Adriann
