Photo Update!!!!

I caught the pic above at our ASA nationals tournament last week and thought it was too cute!!

And a few pictures of Delaney and her team in action...

I love all of those SO much and can't wait to get some of them onto some scrapbook pages. In fact, I'm going to put together a mini album of her Thunderbolts season since it was such a good one (we won four tournaments, came in second three more times, and then placed 5th at the nationals which was a great showing!).

And then softball is always not just about softball. It's about Sydney playing in rain puddles. Ha!!...

And it's about the team taking a break between games at the mall to get cooled off, and posing with the store mannequins...

We came home from the tournament on Friday night, just missing the Final Four which would have played on Saturday. I don't have any pictures from Saturday, but it was a very good day. Three girlfriends and I went together to a church retreat called Chrysalis and had a fantastic (and very spiritually refreshing) time that was much needed by me! Sunday morning continued the great feelings with an AWESOME youth-led worship service at church. (McKenna did the sermon; and I was SO proud of her!!!)

On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed birthday lunch for my sister-in-law Danielle down at my parents' house...

The kids decided to build a fort in the middle of the living room...

Hope all of you had a WONDERFUL weekend and I can't wait to stop by your blogs sometime today! I feel like I have been so "out of the loop"; being gone during the week just threw off my schedule. But things are about to get very routine again...since school starts for the girls this next Thursday (can you believe so soon???). We're trying to have a few last Hurrahs this week before school starts--maybe going to a movie, going to the water park, etc. It will all be good!!!

There's NOTHING like a great softball or baseball game, is there? ESPECIALLY when your kids are involved. I so miss the days of my boys playing...

Well this post ust ook me way back to my own childhood. I remember making blanket and chair forts in the living room. I loved it! Drove my mom nuts but she allowed it. Perhaps I may build one today for old times sake! lol.
