Yay...while I'm enjoying this relaxing Friday night, I actually found the time to finish the layout for the latest OLW challenge. The word this week was "Believe" and when I first read the word the first thing that came to my mind were, "I believe in God the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary..." I immediately thought of the words to "The Apostle's Creed," which we say every Sunday morning at church.
I used a picture of me holding a flower, since nature reminds me so much of God and the beauty He creates.Then I placed it on a piece of chipboard,used some cool patterned paper I found last week at Hobby Lobby, journaled on strips of chipboard, inked the edges, drug out some cool new letter stickers, and embellished with buttons and flowers. And voila...
