Music Share Time

Okay...I'm seriously having Candy Overload and still trying to recover from all the Halloween fun last night.

And, with a big day ahead (a pageant dress fitting this afternoon and high school football game tonight)... I thought I would shift gears a little bit and share four songs that are totally making me happy this Thursday morning!

And be warned ahead of time...there is major EYE CANDY in all of these (since we've had enough of the regular kind)!

First off, I love this new song by Matchbox Twenty. Great anthem, and yeah, yummy!!! ("You're welcome!")

Next is my current favorite country song. It embodies everything that's good about country music...yep, it puts a little tear in your eye.

And then I LOVE this song, "Apologize."A new band to me, but love the sound and the looks of it. It just makes me totally happy...

And then when I first heard that last song I thought to myself, "George Michael would have so sung that back in the 90s." Which made me think of this song, which I still think is one of the most perfectly balanced compositions to ever hit the Top 40 airwaves. And, hey, "America's Top Model" has nothing on the supermodels appearing here...

I LOVE music of all kinds. On any given day, I will listen to Top 40 Pop, Old 80s rock, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, Country, Showtunes, Old Punk or New Age, Mellow 70s stuff, even some Hip Hop. Music just makes me happy, and I absolutely love to discover new music.

So, what are you listening to these days? Recommend what you're lovin' so I can go check it out if I've missed it. (One thing I love about the Internet is you can find music fast!)

And, yes, you can thank me for making you have George Michael in your head all day long...

LOL,I'm totally thinking of George Michael!

I'm really enjoying BuckCherry and Richard (or Dick) Cheese. He takes contemporary songs and redoes them with a lounge act sound, too much fun!

The video direction on Apologize is AWESOME!!! Lately, I've been listenting to mix of Michael Franks, Jill Scott and the Spinners. All three are at in different directions musically, but like you, I listen to all types of music.

I have a very wide range of faves...right now I'm listening to Little Big Town, my Phantom of the Opera soundtrack (since we just saw the show in Bham), Josh Groban's new Christmas album and some old Eagles songs (I haven't bought the new CD yet).

Also, I just had to get a Roll Tide in before the weekend. I cannot wait. We are going to the pep rally tomorrow night and the game on Saturday. I sure hope we win!

The video of Apologize is beautiful. On the other hand, I don't really feel "happy" after listening to it... :) I might make a friend of mine listen to this song, maybe then she'll finally see that she should get over her ex! I guess you know, what kind of songs I listen to right now.

That 'Don't Blink' song is soooo true. It makes me sad everytime I hear it.

My music selections depend on my mood. I do however, loveee all different types of music. I don't discriminate. :)

Oh my, I am a music JUNKIE! I remember when I was a teenager and I'd get put on punishment/grounded...unlike other teenagers who couldn't talk on the phone, watch TV or go out. My punishment was no radio. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment!!! SHEESH!!! I considered running away one time...I couldn't have my radio for 2 weeks! That's 2 WHOLE weeks mind you...14 WHOLE days! It's a miracle that I'm still alive today, LOL.
