So is anyone making New Year's resolutions?

I used to make them every year, but I very obviously rarely went through with them...so I kinda stopped making them "officially." But, that said, every year I really am excited about the new beginnings and the new opportunities to do even better with my choices and my attitudes and my time and my priorities this time around.

With that in mind, then, I think these are the things I'm committed to this year...

* Smiling more. Complaining less.
* Hugging more. Raising my voice less.
* Playing more. Saying "Not right now" less.
* Reading more.
* Dating more (with Gary. ha!)
* Writing more. Procrastinating less.
* Organizing more.
* Budgeting more.
* Traveling more.
* Praying more.
* Thanking more.
* Loving more.
* Appreciating more.

I like your list! I don't do resolutions either, but I do give thought to areas in my life that I want to redirect. I suppose it's kinda the same thing, but "resolution" seems so ... BIG!!

I think those are awesome resolutions and i'm with you on many of them. I like the "clean slate" mentality!

Great goals. I don't think you'll have any trouble meeting any of them. You seem like such a sweet, kind person -- just the kind of person to acheive them all (and then some)!

Here's to a happy New Year filled with "more" of the good things. All the best to you and your family for an awesome 2008.

Hey, I like that ... 'intentions'. I think I'll have to 'steal' that one. I try not to make resolutions per se, but to follow healthy goals and guidelines. I love yours, but those are not resolutions, those are just ways to live a clean, healthy life!

Have I mentioned Cheryl that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your attitude and coming to your blog. I always feel so good when leaving it!

Love ya online friend.

Great list! My one resolution this year is to get to know Christ better. I figure if I can do that everything else will fall into place.

I hope I haven't jinxed myself, though! I NEVER stick to my resolutions!!

Wow. I love those resolutions. Especially the raising your voice less and the saying not right now less. Words of wisdom there. Good luck... but I doubt you'll need it to keep great resolutions like those.

I used to always make them and then break them so I stopped. this year however I have decided to start working out hardcore again like I did in college, we'll see how long it lasts!

I am totally bummed I didn't win your contest :( I am so happy though i get to pick Bama!

SWEET!!! Now that you've made YOUR list, I don't have to make one :-). I'm just gonna share yours...as I need to do all of these things too. However, if you don't mind, I'm gonna go out with Marque more often instead of Gary. I mean, that long distance dating thing is harder than people think,LOL.

Thanks for sharing.
