We won the 11-and-under USSSA World Series!!!!!
Delaney's travel softball team, the Birmingham Mustangs, took the World Series championship home and Delaney is BEYOND thrilled about it!

It is early Monday morning and I have many, many wonderful memories (and a ton of fantastic photos) from our trip to Maryland, but I wanted to just pop on here real quick to give you the update. Thanks for the virtual cheers for the team, across the miles!
I hope to get online later today and start posting details and pictures (once I am awake and lucid). We had a really fabulous time, and got to do a lot more than just play softball (we saw the wild ponies at Assateague; hung out on the Ocean City boardwalk; putt-putt golfed, danced, ate, enjoyed the beach, and basically had an all-around fun time!).
I'll talk to you all again soon!

Watching the wild ponies is fanitastic, I use to take Nickie, Maria and Allen every year to watch them go from one side of the island to the other. It was great and the beach was great. CONGRADULATIONS!!!! to Delaney. Glad you guys made it back safe and sound.
